The long wait is over! Lady Gaga released the music video of her latest single "Born This Way". The Video is so FAB as expected, I lurve every part of it from Gaga giving birth to the dance number. As she mentioned before, "Born This Way" will have two music videos. If we look into the story, Gaga only shows the dark side of it, I think the 2nd version, which is the acoustic version,will show the lighter side of it. LOVE Gaga! Woot! The music video is written by Lady Gaga herself and directed by Nick Knight. Watch the video below!

Anne Hathaway, who co-hosted the 83rd Academy Awards with James Franco certainly stole the show with her style parade of E-I-G-H-T wardrobe changes! These happened in a 3 hr 11 min broadcast, averaging to a dress change every 24 min.

Now that is something!! Here's what she wore, tell me what you like the most! And it's not the dress alone, look at the way she has also changed her hairdo and makeup with each dress.

Mumbai Madness!!

From 4 posts a day I have come down to 0 posts in 4 days!! But it's not because I have been lazy, it's because I had been having fun in Mumbai!!

Writing this post  reminds me about Aisha of 'Wake Up Sid' who spent a whole night in her bathroom to come up with that perfect article to show what she truly felt about the city and how it grew on her! I will be a little more spontaneous and quicker, I am not a writer after all. But the purpose remains the same, what is it about that city that even makes me want to write about it!

Mumbai always makes me feel romantic and liberated. This was my third visit to the city and each trip has made me fall in a little more love with the city! The sea takes my breath away and the fashion quotient of the city makes my head turn innumerable times!

What I Love about the City

Freedom to Wear What You Want to: Don't get me wrong, I love Delhi, but we all know that no woman can roam around in a short skirt on the road at 12 in the night. Only Mumbai girls can! Be it a high-end pub or a small eating joint, you can wear (or not wear) whatever you want to and noone gives those lecherous looks. I am a bit jealous, I must say.

The Liveliness: Can't say that the 'City Never Sleeps', but it sleeps pretty late. There is so much happening almost all night long.

The Style Quotient: Delhi and some other metros have seen a significant change in the way women dress in the past couple of years, but Mumbai still remains ahead of any other city in terms of the fashion quotient. Delhi women can give a close competition but Mumbai will remain a winner for a while to come!

Simple Set-up but Amazing Ambience: The 'Most Famous Hangouts' are not necessarily the 'Most Expensive' ones too, be it Candies at Pali Hill or Pizza by the Bay on Marine Drive. These are cool hangouts with affordable prices, yet amazing ambience.

What I find Amusing about the City

The Coexistence of Slums and Skyscrapers: Slums and high-rises coexist on two sides of the same road. Probably the way I live between complicated SQL queries and bubbly beauty blogs!

The Call for a Passenger: The way the autowala's call a passenger is something!! I don't know how to describe it but they make a sound to call you that in Delhi is called 'Eve Teasing'! I got seriously offended as well as scared the first time! 

PDA Lanes: They have roads that people think are meant for public display of affection- Band-stand, Bandra reclamation amongst others! I know every city has a few, Victoria in Kolkata and Lodhi Garden/ Garden of Five senses in Delhi. But in Mumbai people don't even hide behind a bush. They can just stop the vehicle on a flyover and get started!!

What I can't understand about the City

National Anthem in the Theater: Why do we have sing our national anthem in the theater before the start of every movie? There are many ways to show that you love your country!!

No Helmets: Wonder why people don't care to wear helmets! 

I want to write a lot more about this trip, the places I visited, the things that I bought, the things I ate. I will have these in my upcoming posts. Tell me what you think of this one!

Mila Kunis went for envelope-pushing yet elegant in this lingerie-inspired lavender gown by Elie Saab haute couture. Hot body alert!

She called her Versace dress "tangerine orange" (a major color trend right now!) before the show, but we call Jennifer Hudson's frock smoking hot. Even chicer? She's got purple heels on under that train!


There's a reason she's Gwyneth Paltrow, gals: The Oscar winner knows how to look like a true star on the red carpet, and this metallic Calvin Klein Collection gown really let her true beauty shine through. Louis Vuitton jewels add just enough glam factor.


In more amazing metallics news, Hilary Swank stunned us in a glittering strapless gown by Gucci with a feathered train. Her sculptural hairdo was the perfect way to flaunt those fabulous shoulders.



Can you say flawless? Cate Blanchett always pulls out the big guns for the Oscars, but her structured lilac Givenchy haute couture gown was exceptionally beautiful. Her simple, sleek 'do is the perfect complement.


Reese Witherspoon is all-American red carpet royalty in this Armani Prive gown--it shows off her silhouette perfectly, and the vintage Barbie ponytail is tres chic!


She's only 14, but Hailee Steinfeld has been knocking our socks off on the red carpet. For the biggest red carpet of the year, she went sweet, demure, and age-appropriate in a tulle Marchesa dress. The length is absolutely darling!

Good friends Kate and Laura Mulleavy--otherwise known as Rodarte--whipped up this custom drapey off-the-shoulder maternity dress for Natalie Portman, and she's positively radiant. The rich plum hue and coordinating accessories get an A+.


Stunning actress + fantasy gown = red carpet perfection. Halle Berry knows how to bring it, which is exactly what she did in this frothy strapless Marchesa number.

Catch Me, I'm In Love Teaser

For the first time, magtatagpo na, two of Philippine's sweethearts will top billed an upcoming kilig movie from Star Cinema and Viva Films. "Catch Me, I'm In Love" stars Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson with Matteo Guidicelli. The movie is set to be release on March 23,2011 nationwide. What do you think of this new team up?

New Ke$ha! "Blow" Official Music Video

"Blow" is Ke$ha's 2nd single from her EP,"Cannibal". I like the humor in this music video especially that James Van der beek is part of it! (Que music: Paula Cole's "I Don't Wanna Wait" Haha!). For me this is one of Ke$ha's best single. Among my top favorites from her are "We Are Who We Are" and "TikTok". GLEE: Original Songs- "Loser Like Me" and "Get It Right"

Glee: The music volume 5 will contain two original songs, first time on the series, well not really because Rachel(Lea Michele) came up with an original song titled "My Headband", but the two on the album are the first to be officially release. The two songs are "Get It Right" and "Loser Like Me". The second song, uptempo "Loser Like Me" is like the theme song of the series and I'm liking the song. "Get It Right" is a power ballad which is based on Lea Michele's character, Rachel Berry. Which do you like the best? Glee: The music volume 5 is out March 8, 2011.

Mandy Moore and Kellan "I♥" Lutz stars in an upcoming romantic comedy from Chydzik Media group. "Love Wedding Marriage" is about Eva,Mandy Moore(Tangled, A Walk to Remember) , a marriage counselor who needs to deal with her parents getting a divorce. Kellan Lutz(Twilight Saga) is Charlie, Eva's husband. I love the scene wherein Kellan is rolling in the bed with Mandy! :)

Spring Trends 2011

Trend #1: Back to the colorful 60's:
