Remember Tami from MTV The Real World Los Angeles 1993?
Well I do! What sticks out to me is when Tami was in the bed with barely any clothes on and David (lis tongue lol) found it funny to pull the sheets off of her and drag her across the floor!
When everyone thought it was comedic Tami was NOT having it!
That's when the world 1st got a taste of Tami's wrath!
On The Real World Tami was left to make a very hard decision on national TV and had an abortion, a very touchy subject especially for aristocrats and religious people.
After The Real World success, modeling, hosting, becoming a mom, and getting married,all things came to an end leaving Tami to struggle for herself and her children! But YOU CAN'T KEEP A GOOD WOMAN DOWN!
Tami is telling her story on Basketball Wives on VH1 and compared to the other wives, almost wives, ex-wives, girlfriends or fiance's her story is a little rough leaving her to stick out like a sore thumb or be looked down upon. My opinion is this.....
Tami been through hell and back! Because of her experiences she has put up a wall which is a natural defense mechanism we humans do to protect ourselves! Give her a BREAK!
Women do not stick together especially in hard times we push our noses up and compare ourselves coming up with "I'm better than her" than "Let me help her".
She is the normal everyday women with real experiences that if you put 10 women to a table in THE REAL WORLD not a FILMED world has had an abortion, cheated on, been broke, was in the public assistance line, had a child or had sex before marriage, I say 8 out of 10 would say YES!
KEEP IT REAL PEOPLE!
OUR LIVES ARE NOT FILMED AND IF IT WERE WE WOULD PROBABLY BE WALKING DOWN THE HALL OF SHAME!
Like a true New Yorker Tami don't play and say what's on her mind but it's not to the point where she's unbearable or obnoxious she still looks like you will enjoy her company, have good laughs and a great time!
GO TAMI!!!
Hopefully we will see more of Tami other than basketball wives.
I say her OWN realty show? "Tami back in business" as a mom, entrepreneur and back in the dating scene and down the aisle with a REAL MAN! In the words of Shaunie Oneil "You Never Know"
