Back to life...

 001. After all this christmas indulgence and enjoying the dolce far niente over the high days and holidays, it's time for me to report back. I really had some great weeks within my family circle and I finally got accepted for this year's journalistic internship at "Süddeutsche Zeitung", one of Germany's highly run newspapers. I am really beside myself with joy to have the opportunity to estivate in Munich this year!!

002. Besides all this sense of delight, I need to get back to the grindstone. As the semester comes to an end, I am overwhelmed with work. On Friday, I started learning statistics, but there is still macroeconomics, public law, politicial theory and history of political thought waiting for me.
 So I am definitely snowed under with work. In addition, I have to author my first manuscript about parental maintenance. Phew!! But to answer Bob the Builder's "Can we fix it?"  - Yes, I can! At least, I hope..

003. At the very end, I got a surprise for you, which I already announced last year. In cooperation with stylefruits, a social-shopping-platform, I'll raffle off a bag by David Jones . Hey everyone, it's a new year and I know many of you are making resolutions to lose weight, stop bad habits, start new ideas...etc. While that's all great, let's not forget to clean out your beauty bag! Out with the old bacteria-filled expired makeup, and in with something new! Recycle those old product containers and you may get free product from cosmetic companies like MAC!

Cosmetics:

Liquid/Cream Foundation, 6 month - 1 year  Smell your foundation and make sure it doesnt smell like chemicals. Also check to see if color or texture has changed. If any of these have occurred, discard immediately.

Concealer, 6 months - 1 year

 

Powders, 1-2 years

Mascara, 3 months

Lip gloss & Lipstick, 1 year

Eye/Lip Pencils, 1-2 years, make sure you sharpen them often to prevent bacteria from transfering to your eyes. If the product is dried out then discard.


Skincare

Facial Cleansers & Moisturizers, 6 months

Facial Toners, 1 year

Natural Cosmetics, 6 months (products containing all natural or plant products)

Brushes And Tools

Cleaing your brushes and sponges are essential because of oil and bacteria that gets trapped in those tools. Wash brushes at minimum once a month. Wash reusable sponges once a week and discard them after a month.

Especially on girl fights between the liars and I want to know who among the liars that Jason (Drew Van Acker) is related to, I think it's Spencer (Troian Bellisario) As they say "If at first you don't succeed, lie and lie again..."

Glee-"Yes/No" Episode Preview And Photos

Wow, just few more weeks and Glee is back with "Yes/No" episode. I can't wait for this one especially that they will remake Rihanna's "We Found Love". Chord will be shirtless again, a number from the hit movie "Grease" will be revived by Sam who will take his chance to win Mercedes back, Mr.Schuester will propose to Emma and after this episode it's the Michael Jackson tribute! Mirror,Mirror Trailer

As we know two major Snow White movies will be released next year. The first one is the Kristen Stewart remake while on March 16th it's "Mirror, Mirror". This movie is top billed by Lily Collins (The Blind Side) as Snow White. She will be joined by Armie Hammer (The Social Network) as the Prince and Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen Clementiana. "Mirror, Mirror" will tell us the untold adventures of Snow White in a more comedic and enchanting way. "Mirror, Mirror" is directed by Tarsem Singh(Immortals). Which Snow White adaptation will you watch?

R.I.P-Tyron Perez

ABS-CBN and Star Magic talent Tyron Perez was found dead inside a car parked along NLEX. According to police reports, Tyron's death cause is still unknown but their taking into consideration the possibility of suicide. However, the young actor posted something on Twitter that may confirm his suicidal condition, read below...

One GMA news personality tweeted and confirmed that Tyron did commit suicide but the investigation is still ongoing and foulplay is also considered. So more stories about Tyron's death will be reported. Tyron was part of defunct shows in ABS-CBN like "Momay", "Mula Sa Puso" and "Imortal" and last seen in an MMK episode with Ejay Falcon this December. The Starstruck alumnus will surely miss by his fans. Tyron Perez died at the age of 26.

Winners Of 2011 MMFF Awards Night

The just concluded Awards Night of the 37th Metro Manila Film Festival as usual has controversies. Regal Films' "Yesterday, Today And Tomorrow" has been disqualified in major categories including Best Picture and Best Screenplay, Best Director and the Gatpuno Villegas Cultural Awards because, as MMFF executive chairman Francis Tolentino said, Regal Entertainment changes the pre-approved cast and storyline which is against the Festival's policy. But Mother Lily Monteverde said that they advised the committee about the changes. On the lighter side, the movie won the Best Actress trophy for Maricel Soriano. Whew! Every year MMFF always dishes out controversies. Below are winners of this year's MMFF and "Manila Kingpin: The Asiong Salonga Story" went home with the most number of awards.
