Hottest TV Hunk Poll!

The position of becoming our Banner Model for November is now up on a poll! Who among these TV hunks would you like to be our next Banner Model? Enzo Pineda just started gracing our banner and he will be for the whole month of October.

To kick off the competition is Cinemalaya's Best Actor Edgar Allan Guzman. His remarkable performance in Ligo Na U, Lapit Na Me gave him the award and this rocketed his career. He did an episode for MMK opposite Kim Chiu and he is set to play a part in Nora Aunor's mini-serye in TV5's "Sa Ngalan Ng Ina".

Next are TV eyecandies Chace Crawford and Drew Van Acker. As Gossip Girl season 5 premiered, we saw Chace Crawford's character Nate Archibald got involved to a Hollywood hottie...Elizabeth Hurley. This means a lot of sexy Nate the whole season! On the other hand, Drew Van Acker who plays Jason diLaurentis in the hit series Pretty Little Liars is making buzz because of his shirtless scenes, showing his chiseled body, charming looks and perfect tan. Eventhough Drew is just a replacement this season he proved that he is a better replacement.

Moreno hunks from rival networks are up for the poll too. Kapamilya prime actor Zanjoe Marudo already proved that he is not just a tall, dark and handsome kinda actor, he got talent in acting and we knew it from his teleserye "Kristine" and now he's ready to do more via his own serye "Hiyas" he is also part of an all star cast primera-serye "Muling Buksan Ang Puso" with three primetime actresses Gretchen Baretto, KC Concepcion and rumored girlfriend Bea Alonzo. Next is Kapuso hunk Rocco Nacino, he is GMA's hottest rookie. A Starstruck alum, Rocco is one of today's in demand stud after his revealing Cosmo Centerfold last year. Rocco Nacino is currently part of GMA 7 Telebabad's "Time Of My Life".

The biggest breakthrough star to emerge from the hit TV series Glee is Fil-Am Darren Criss, his character Blaine inspired many and he's the only Glee star to have his own soundtrack compilation! Darren now has a TV series, hit songs and upcoming movies in his belt. Next is Charlie's Angels new Bosley, The hottest hacker on TV , Ramon Rodriguez. You may know him from hit movies like Transformers 2 and Battle:Los Angeles. Girls (including me) are drooling on this latino hunk as he was shirtless in Charlie's Angels's Pilot episode, can you handle Bosley?

Last in our list is Primetime actor Coco Martin. This Indie film actor just finished his most successful teleserye in ABS-CBN entitled "Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin". His dual role was very memorable not just to women but also to men who liked his action packed teleserye. Coco is now busy filming his movie opposite Angeline Quinto with a working title "You Light Up My Life".

Über Sa Happy Poll!

Xian Lim won the last poll and now our Banner Model for the whole month of August. Now, it’s time for a new poll and we have interesting candidates. Its funny how time flies and we are now voting who we would like to be the next Banner Model for the month of September! The comedians will battle it out and we have contenders from different networks.

Let's start with our first finalist, will you vote for Eugene Domingo? She is now the Box-office magnate from Kimmi Dora to Here Comes The Bride to Babae sa Septic Tank. Not to mention that she also bag awards for her exceptional skills. Eugene is Allan K's co-host in GMA 7's Comedy Bar and she is set to do another project with TV5 plus a sequel to Kimmi Dora and a movie with Toni Gonzaga under Star Cinema. Eugene Domingo is single and loving it!

Fresh from their Temptation Island success, John Lapus and Rufa Mae Quinto are next in the line-up of our finalists. Rufa Mae is the original Booba, with her signature comedy style and her sexy body she is the funniest sexy-comedienne today. Rufa Mae started with That's Entertainment and eventually launched as a sexy comedienne and, for me, Booba is her most memorable role to date. Rufa Mae is versatile because she can also sing, I remember her single Ocean Deep, and the music video is Über funny! She also co-host Showbiz Central every Sunday in GMA. The universal sweet John Lapus is our third contender to be our Banner Model. Sweet balance movies and hosting. He is one of the main hosts of Showbiz Central and he successfully done magic in movies with big stars like Aiai delas Alas, Marian Rivera and Eugene Domingo. But John is set to make a big take in his career as he will be launched as the main star in an MMFF 2011 entry Hototay. John Lapus is working with GMA but under contract with ABS-CBN's Star Magic.

After winning Pinoy Big Brother Double Up, Melai Cantiveros rocket her career and got a lot of projects from reality shows to hosting to movies and not to mention TVC's. Melai's launching movie Pureza: Queen of the Riles opposite reel and real sweetheart Jason Francisco managed to do well despite the fact that the movie is in the same week with the final instalment of Harry Potter. On the other hand even though no launching movie of her own yet, Pokwang is still one of today's bankable comedians. She won the first ever Clown In A Million and now busy hosting Happy Yippee Yehey and being funny in Banana Split. Pokwang delight many with her extraordinaire outfits and her own style of comedy is not corny.

No last name funny men Pooh and Shalala are next in line; will you like Pooh to grace our banner for next month? Pooh's funny antics and impersonations got the whole world laughing, this made him a You Tube sensation! He is famous impersonating Manny Pacquiao and Brother Eli as well as other personalities. The stand up comedian is part of ABS-CBN's Banana Split which gave viewers Pooh's different style of comedy. Pooh also tried doing serious roles in the now defunct teleserye Pangarap Na Bituin with Sarah Geronimo, he also did successful shows here and abroad. What makes Shalala popular is his shrieking but tolerable voice. Shalala started as a voice over for TV host German Moreno and now being identified as a Kapatid and does different jobs for the said network, Shalala is now known not just in his voice but with his daily blind items in the daily show Juicy Express.

Last in our list is the un-Kabog-gable Vice Ganda. His unstoppable rise to fame made Vice today’s "It Gay". Under his belt are box-office movies, a solo album, sold out concerts in Araneta and top rating shows. He started as a stand up comedian just like today's popular stars like Eugene, Aiai and Allan K. Vice is the host of his own top rating nightly talk show Gandang Gabi Vice and the unevictable hurado in the daily program Showtime. He is now busy with another potential box-office movie under Star Cinema tentatively entitled Private Benjamin. That's it guys! Now VOTE! Mikael Daez Photo Scandal?

It's now circulating the web. The alleged photo scandal of Mikael Daez. The model turned actor is set to rocket his career via the teleserye "Amaya" with Marian Rivera on GMA 7 and he is also part of the Temptation Island remake. Fashionpulis.com got hold of this photo. It shows Mikael holding a videocam recording himself as he "do it". There is still a debate if the picture is photo shopped. What do you think? Is this another promotion for the young actor's career and his upcoming projects? I can say Mikael's stardom will shine more with this controversy.

Bida-Kids! Bida-Poll!

It's time once again for another poll question! After Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson won our poll question last month with a tight race with Kathryn Bernardo & Albie Casino, for this month it's the kids turn to shine and be our Banner Model for May! Bida-Kids talaga this summer and it's you who will choose who is the cutest kid to welcome our guests as our new Banner Model. First in line is ABS-CBN's newest discovery, Mutya Orquia, she is now one of the front runner in the primetime race with her high rating fantaserye "Mutya" where she plays a mermaid. Next is Jillian Ward, GMA's pambato to compete with Mutya with her current project, Captain Barbell that is also in the primetime line-up in rival with "Mutya". Jillian won the hearts of many as "Trudis Liit" this character rocketed her career to more big projects with GMA. (Both girls photos as shown above.)

Our little boys in this poll are dancing dynamite Bugoy Carino (Sorry about the wrong surname in the poll question) and the child wonder Zaijan Jaranilla. Bugoy's power talent are his dance moves that gives him a lot of pogi charisma, Bugoy will soon star in he's own teleserye via "Robot" under ABS-CBN. While Zaijan Jaranilla made a very successful breakthrough with his role as Santino from the now defunct teleserye "MayBukas Pa". Zaijan's innocent and heart warming acting talent made him a very in demand child star,he's been paired with big stars like Piolo Pascual in "Noah" and Eugene Domingo in "RPG Metanoia". Now he's latest project is a movie with just the Vic Sotto., Box-office King lang naman!

GMA's afternoon block is really strong that ABS-CBN is having a hard time beating it, one of the reason is Angeli Nicole Sanoy. She is the girl who top billed "Magic Palayok" with Carla Abellana and Geoff Eigemann. Her talent in acting is not questionable and even effortless if you will see it. Last to introduce is Xyriel Manabat. Her stardom for me is actually a luck. She was suppose to play the young Andi Eigenmann in "Agua Bendita" but with her superb performance, ABS CBN saw the big star potential in her that's why her apperance in the said soap was extended to the extent that the main star Andi Eigenmann's camp made a complain. She eventually got her own soap via "Momay" and soon joined Zaijan in "Noah". She is soon to be paired with Coney Reyes in a teleserye tentatively titled "100".

Strobelight On: Mikael Daez

GMA 7 is launching a new face in primetime. After the long search for Marian Rivera's leading man in her upcoming epic-serye "Amaya", GMA finally settles for Mikael Daez. the 23 years old Ateneo student is also a part time model. I know there will be three leading men for Marian here and the other confirmed to bag a role is Sid Lucero. What do you think of Mikael Daez? I think he's sexy. :)

Strobelight On: Joseph Marco

He is "Raymund" in the hit teleserye from ABS-CBN, "Sabel". He's part of a love triangle with Jessy Mendiola and Aj Perez, and the three of them are now being recognize in the primetime block. Joseph Marco had a short career with GMA 7, he was briefly seen in "La Vendetta" and in the remake of "Dyesebel". Now he's career is expected to bloom in 2011 along with his co-stars Jessy and Aj.

The Asia's Songbird, Regine Velasquez got a brand new album. "Fantasy", under Universal records, has two different cover artworks. The first one is black and white which kinda like Mariah Carey's "Obsessed" album art. While the second one is the Beyonce-ish colored edition. Both comes with ten free colored postcards. Both versions will include 22 songs seperated in two CD's. I want to have her new CD! I saw the track list and I liked it! See her new music video, "You Don't Know" featuring Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera. I also included her kinda-wedding song "Been Waiting"!

The Diary returns...

Mara Clara Remake 2010

In celebration of ABS-CBN's 60th year of Pinoy Soap Opera...The Kapamilya network brings back one of it's popular TV Series. "Mara Clara". The diary is back and the new Mara and Clara are Kathryn Bernardo and Julia Montes respectively. Kathryn is back as a Kapamilya after her short stay with GMA. Julia needs to change her screen name from Mara Montes since she will play the role of Clara. I think this will replace "Rosalka". Thoughts?
