With a big lead Paulo Avelino won our last month's poll question and is now our Banner Model for the whole month of December! 'Tis the holiday to give love and Paulo will bring joy to my Blog visitors! Merry Christmas guys! Hottest TV Hunk Poll!

The position of becoming our Banner Model for November is now up on a poll! Who among these TV hunks would you like to be our next Banner Model? Enzo Pineda just started gracing our banner and he will be for the whole month of October.

To kick off the competition is Cinemalaya's Best Actor Edgar Allan Guzman. His remarkable performance in Ligo Na U, Lapit Na Me gave him the award and this rocketed his career. He did an episode for MMK opposite Kim Chiu and he is set to play a part in Nora Aunor's mini-serye in TV5's "Sa Ngalan Ng Ina".

Next are TV eyecandies Chace Crawford and Drew Van Acker. As Gossip Girl season 5 premiered, we saw Chace Crawford's character Nate Archibald got involved to a Hollywood hottie...Elizabeth Hurley. This means a lot of sexy Nate the whole season! On the other hand, Drew Van Acker who plays Jason diLaurentis in the hit series Pretty Little Liars is making buzz because of his shirtless scenes, showing his chiseled body, charming looks and perfect tan. Eventhough Drew is just a replacement this season he proved that he is a better replacement.

Moreno hunks from rival networks are up for the poll too. Kapamilya prime actor Zanjoe Marudo already proved that he is not just a tall, dark and handsome kinda actor, he got talent in acting and we knew it from his teleserye "Kristine" and now he's ready to do more via his own serye "Hiyas" he is also part of an all star cast primera-serye "Muling Buksan Ang Puso" with three primetime actresses Gretchen Baretto, KC Concepcion and rumored girlfriend Bea Alonzo. Next is Kapuso hunk Rocco Nacino, he is GMA's hottest rookie. A Starstruck alum, Rocco is one of today's in demand stud after his revealing Cosmo Centerfold last year. Rocco Nacino is currently part of GMA 7 Telebabad's "Time Of My Life".

The biggest breakthrough star to emerge from the hit TV series Glee is Fil-Am Darren Criss, his character Blaine inspired many and he's the only Glee star to have his own soundtrack compilation! Darren now has a TV series, hit songs and upcoming movies in his belt. Next is Charlie's Angels new Bosley, The hottest hacker on TV , Ramon Rodriguez. You may know him from hit movies like Transformers 2 and Battle:Los Angeles. Girls (including me) are drooling on this latino hunk as he was shirtless in Charlie's Angels's Pilot episode, can you handle Bosley?

Last in our list is Primetime actor Coco Martin. This Indie film actor just finished his most successful teleserye in ABS-CBN entitled "Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin". His dual role was very memorable not just to women but also to men who liked his action packed teleserye. Coco is now busy filming his movie opposite Angeline Quinto with a working title "You Light Up My Life".

Über Sa Happy Poll!

Xian Lim won the last poll and now our Banner Model for the whole month of August. Now, it’s time for a new poll and we have interesting candidates. Its funny how time flies and we are now voting who we would like to be the next Banner Model for the month of September! The comedians will battle it out and we have contenders from different networks.

Let's start with our first finalist, will you vote for Eugene Domingo? She is now the Box-office magnate from Kimmi Dora to Here Comes The Bride to Babae sa Septic Tank. Not to mention that she also bag awards for her exceptional skills. Eugene is Allan K's co-host in GMA 7's Comedy Bar and she is set to do another project with TV5 plus a sequel to Kimmi Dora and a movie with Toni Gonzaga under Star Cinema. Eugene Domingo is single and loving it!

Fresh from their Temptation Island success, John Lapus and Rufa Mae Quinto are next in the line-up of our finalists. Rufa Mae is the original Booba, with her signature comedy style and her sexy body she is the funniest sexy-comedienne today. Rufa Mae started with That's Entertainment and eventually launched as a sexy comedienne and, for me, Booba is her most memorable role to date. Rufa Mae is versatile because she can also sing, I remember her single Ocean Deep, and the music video is Über funny! She also co-host Showbiz Central every Sunday in GMA. The universal sweet John Lapus is our third contender to be our Banner Model. Sweet balance movies and hosting. He is one of the main hosts of Showbiz Central and he successfully done magic in movies with big stars like Aiai delas Alas, Marian Rivera and Eugene Domingo. But John is set to make a big take in his career as he will be launched as the main star in an MMFF 2011 entry Hototay. John Lapus is working with GMA but under contract with ABS-CBN's Star Magic.

After winning Pinoy Big Brother Double Up, Melai Cantiveros rocket her career and got a lot of projects from reality shows to hosting to movies and not to mention TVC's. Melai's launching movie Pureza: Queen of the Riles opposite reel and real sweetheart Jason Francisco managed to do well despite the fact that the movie is in the same week with the final instalment of Harry Potter. On the other hand even though no launching movie of her own yet, Pokwang is still one of today's bankable comedians. She won the first ever Clown In A Million and now busy hosting Happy Yippee Yehey and being funny in Banana Split. Pokwang delight many with her extraordinaire outfits and her own style of comedy is not corny.

No last name funny men Pooh and Shalala are next in line; will you like Pooh to grace our banner for next month? Pooh's funny antics and impersonations got the whole world laughing, this made him a You Tube sensation! He is famous impersonating Manny Pacquiao and Brother Eli as well as other personalities. The stand up comedian is part of ABS-CBN's Banana Split which gave viewers Pooh's different style of comedy. Pooh also tried doing serious roles in the now defunct teleserye Pangarap Na Bituin with Sarah Geronimo, he also did successful shows here and abroad. What makes Shalala popular is his shrieking but tolerable voice. Shalala started as a voice over for TV host German Moreno and now being identified as a Kapatid and does different jobs for the said network, Shalala is now known not just in his voice but with his daily blind items in the daily show Juicy Express.

Last in our list is the un-Kabog-gable Vice Ganda. His unstoppable rise to fame made Vice today’s "It Gay". Under his belt are box-office movies, a solo album, sold out concerts in Araneta and top rating shows. He started as a stand up comedian just like today's popular stars like Eugene, Aiai and Allan K. Vice is the host of his own top rating nightly talk show Gandang Gabi Vice and the unevictable hurado in the daily program Showtime. He is now busy with another potential box-office movie under Star Cinema tentatively entitled Private Benjamin. That's it guys! Now VOTE! Our Banner Model For July is Xian Lim

Wow! Congratulations to Xian Lim for winning our July poll question. With percentage of 56%, Xian out voted his close contender Tom Rodriguez. Xian is one hot actor of his generation now and his rise is unstoppable. He is one of Kim Chiu’s leading men in an upcoming ABS-CBN teleserye My Binondo Girl. Thanks to all who voted guys! Last Friday Night With Keenan Cahill and The Gleeks

Keenan Cahill is You Tube sensation because of his videos lip-syncing popular songs and sometimes doing it with popular stars! Like this one, he's doing it with the cast of Glee. Dianna Agron, Jenna Ushkowitz, Harry Shum Jr. and the Über hot Darren Criss! They performed Katy Perry's Last Friday Night (TGIF). It's much better if Keenan knows the lyrics,hehe. Time For A Sassy Poll!

After the landslide win of Albie Casino from last month's poll question, It's time for the girls to take the stage and win the title of becoming our Banner Model for JULY!

Let's start the competition with Anne Curtis, her pretty face and acting skills made her one of the "It Girl" of this generation. Cover girl, Power endorser, Youth advocate and more! She always charm the madlang pipol with her morning chants in the daily program Showtime. Anne is also an award winning actress bagging a Best Actress award for the movie Baler. She has a lot of endorsements and upcoming projects both from her mother studios Viva and ABS-CBN. As one of my friends told me "Kahit ano gawin ni Anne 'di s'ya nagmumukhang Tanga!" and that's a compliment I totally agree.

The models to join this fierce poll are Solenn Heusaff and Georgina Wilson. Both of them are currently making names for themselves not just as models but also as VJ's and endorsers. Solenn is being identified as a Kapuso, she got a lot of attention after Survivor Philippines Celebrity Showdown where in she's a runner up. This model can also sing! Solenn will be part of the upcoming Temptation Island Remake. On the other hand, Georgina is taking things slowly. Her suplada image was erased after her short stint as a hurado in Showtime. Her pagka-Masa image was created, this also gave her more offers from different brands.

Three dramatic actresses are now in lead to become the next big names in Philippine Showbiz. Kim Chiu started as the first Big winner of PBB Teen Edition, after that she rocketed her career alongside her love team Gerald Anderson. With top rated teleseryes and box-office movies under her belt, Kim Chiu is now the most bankable young star of her generation. She has an upcoming teleserye on ABS-CBN entitled "Binondo Girl". The first Morena to conquer this poll is Maja Salvador, her road to showbiz is unlike any others and that's history to tell. Now, aside from being a Dance Diva, Maja has done a lot of remarkable projects and currently visible as one of the leads in the highly rated Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin opposite Coco Martin. After her successful portrayal as Clara, Julia Montes is ready for more! Mara Schnitka, or now known as Julia Montes is set to top bill a movie under Star Cinema and a TV series with a working title Growing Ups with Kathryn Bernardo. Her Mara Clara stardom is just the start. Are you ready for more of Julia?

From a Kapuso to a Kapamilya, the Starstruck alum Cristine Reyes has surpass a lot of conflicts. The star of the upcoming teleserye Reputasyon has been in a midst of a lot of controversies. From her Twitter rampage because of her relationship with actor Rayver Cruz to the bosohan issue, Cristine Reyes shows that she can handle anything with her strong will and brave personality. And as they say...Last but not the least is Venus Raj. The Miss Universe 4th runner up is the last Morena we have for this poll. After her controversial "Major Major" statement during the Miss Universe pageant, she became a household name and offers came instantly. She is now part of the Umagang Kay Ganda Barkada and she has a lot of product endorsements and offers for magazine covers.

Welcome , Our Banner Model For June!

First of all, Thank You to all who supported our last month's poll question! Albie Casino won our poll question, it was a landslide! At first "Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin" main stay Martin del Rosario lead the voting with a high score followed by Acoustic Heartthrob Jaco Benin, until the two of them got head to head. But of course by the time Albie's fans learned about our poll question which is "Who Would You Like To Be Our Banner Model for the Month of June and as the Hottest Boy of Summer?", Albienatics burned the poll and rocketed Albie to top spot in just one day! I hope for a fansign from Albie! Hehe...By the way "Mara Clara" will end this week and Albie's role as Christian, love interest to Mara played by Kathryn Bernardo will bid farewell as well but this is not the end of their phenomenal team up. Albie is set to do a movie with Kathryn and Julia under Star Cinema and the three of them were also rumored to top bill the TV remake of FLAMES. Once again, thanks much guys! The Boys Of Summer Poll Question!

The heatwave continues as the boys of Summer battle it out to be our next Banner Model! The IT Boys from ABS-CBN and GMA will make you decide, Who would you like to be Our Banner Model for the month of JUNE?!

Let's start off with ABS-CBN's Jaco Benin. He was already featured in our "Strobelights On" article. Jaco is a musician, it's not a shock because he is the son of Side A's former member Joey Benin. He already released his first solo album entitled "Ako Naman". Jaco is also part of ASAP Rock's boy group "A Pop". On the other hand GMA's acoustic hunk Aljur Abrenica was set to conquer primetime via his now defunct show "Machete". In his young age, Aljur already achieve a perfect body that girls, and gays will drool for. Aljur showcase his singing talent as he release a self titled solo album. Aljur continue to grow as a sexy hunk actor with an upcoming movie, the remake of "Temptation Island".

Next are ABS-CBN talents Enrique Gil, Martin del Rosario and Albie Casino. Gigger Boy member Enrique started as a pa-cute guy but now he is making a new turn in his career as he take more serious roles. Enrique is the other child in "Good Vibes" and the aggressive Michael in Mula Sa Puso. Enrique also sizzles us with his daring photo shoot with friend Sam Concepcion(see older posts). Martin del Rosario is being mold as a dramatic actor, I noticed that every project he make were serious drama, most are from MMK episodes. These remarkable portrayals land him a role in the the highly rated teleserye Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin with Coco Martin and Lorna Tolentino. Martin is working hard as well in making his body beach beautiful! He will make head turns with his newly chiseled chests. Mara Clara is not complete without Christian and he is being played by Albie Casino. Albie was casts as well to play a role in a movie with her Mara Clara co-stars, Kathryn Bernardo and Julia Montes. Albie needs more workshops to improve his craft but being a fast learner I think is his best asset to rocket his career in this industry.

The last batch consist of GMA's hot commodities. Rocco Nacino, Enzo Pineda and Paulo Avelino sizzles as this generations hot morenos. Rocco Nacino, a Starstruck alum, Made his way to hotness as he posed for Cosmopolitan's Hot Bachelor's 2010. His centerfold photo was the most talk about because of his choice of underwear and "angle" of his shot. Rocco didn't mind as long as he will satisfy every reader of the mag. His batch mate in Starstruck, cute face Enzo Pineda is next in line. Commonly mistaken as Rocco(and vice versa) Enzo manage to seperate himself and made an image all by himself. As the cute boy-next door type, Enzo will soon appear in the upcoming teleserye "Amaya". Last in our list is the hunky daddy Paulo Avelino. He is also a Starstruck alum, Paulo's hot body is now a controversy as a leaked photo of him showing some scandalous peek soars the web but that only made him a more in demand star. He is visible in GMA shows especially in the afternoon serye "Alakdana".

Bida-Kids! Bida-Poll!

It's time once again for another poll question! After Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson won our poll question last month with a tight race with Kathryn Bernardo & Albie Casino, for this month it's the kids turn to shine and be our Banner Model for May! Bida-Kids talaga this summer and it's you who will choose who is the cutest kid to welcome our guests as our new Banner Model. First in line is ABS-CBN's newest discovery, Mutya Orquia, she is now one of the front runner in the primetime race with her high rating fantaserye "Mutya" where she plays a mermaid. Next is Jillian Ward, GMA's pambato to compete with Mutya with her current project, Captain Barbell that is also in the primetime line-up in rival with "Mutya". Jillian won the hearts of many as "Trudis Liit" this character rocketed her career to more big projects with GMA. (Both girls photos as shown above.)

Our little boys in this poll are dancing dynamite Bugoy Carino (Sorry about the wrong surname in the poll question) and the child wonder Zaijan Jaranilla. Bugoy's power talent are his dance moves that gives him a lot of pogi charisma, Bugoy will soon star in he's own teleserye via "Robot" under ABS-CBN. While Zaijan Jaranilla made a very successful breakthrough with his role as Santino from the now defunct teleserye "MayBukas Pa". Zaijan's innocent and heart warming acting talent made him a very in demand child star,he's been paired with big stars like Piolo Pascual in "Noah" and Eugene Domingo in "RPG Metanoia". Now he's latest project is a movie with just the Vic Sotto., Box-office King lang naman!

GMA's afternoon block is really strong that ABS-CBN is having a hard time beating it, one of the reason is Angeli Nicole Sanoy. She is the girl who top billed "Magic Palayok" with Carla Abellana and Geoff Eigemann. Her talent in acting is not questionable and even effortless if you will see it. Last to introduce is Xyriel Manabat. Her stardom for me is actually a luck. She was suppose to play the young Andi Eigenmann in "Agua Bendita" but with her superb performance, ABS CBN saw the big star potential in her that's why her apperance in the said soap was extended to the extent that the main star Andi Eigenmann's camp made a complain. She eventually got her own soap via "Momay" and soon joined Zaijan in "Noah". She is soon to be paired with Coney Reyes in a teleserye tentatively titled "100".
